The LCF Benevolence Team Members: Cletus Yoder, Levi Miller, Jennifer Cooper, and David Stewart.
The primary task of the benevolence team is to manage the benevolence fund, which is used to help with the needs of the church and community. The fund is a way for LCF as a body to show love through financial assistance to those in need both inside and outside the church. It is intended for urgent needs. The team evaluates each case and makes a decision about how best to help, which may include financial or material assistance, counseling, or referral to a local agency that may be able to help. The gospel is shared with all individuals making external requests. LCF attenders can complete a request for help for themselves or on behalf of someone else.
- Internal requests are requests made for yourself or another LCF attendee.
- External requests are requests made for or by individuals outside of LCF.
The goal of the Benevolence Team is to be a blessing, both spiritually and materially, to those truly in need both within and outside of LCF.

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us know love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:16-18
