We began as an outreach to the London Community and became Shalom Community Church in 1984. Our first services were held at 42 Little College Day Care.
We purchased and renovated a former trucking building along Rt. 42, added a small auditorium to it, and began meeting there in 1988.
In 2004 we changed our name from Shalom Community Church to London Christian Fellowship (often referred to as “LCF”) to better reflect who we are.
After many years of planning and fundraising, we broke ground for our new church building (to be located on the north end of our property) on June 10, 2012.
Construction began in July 2012 and was completed by March 2013. We enjoyed watching the changes take place from week to week.
On March 17, 2013 we had our first service in our new church building. It was wonderful to finally have a kitchen and fellowship hall, a room for our library, Sunday school class rooms for the children (without having to go outside), and more!
We are encouraged as we reflect on God’s guidance and provision for us as a church over the years, and we look forward to all that he will continue to do in and through us in the years to come! To God be all the glory!
